Anyone know where you can get replacement fog lights for short money or an inexpensive replacement for the stock ones???

I ordered mine for my MJ from there, arrived quickly and in perfect shape...plus they gave me a nifty hella LED key chain light!

You probably won't have to pay sales tax like I did either....

also KC makes some that look like the stock ones and they are less than $50. They are in the quadratec catalog, but if you buy them at an offroad store they are cheaper.

Can you splice the KC's also or would I have to rewire the set up and utilize the non-factory switch?

You definitely pay for quality. I have Hella 450's for fog and driving lights. My brother in law bought a set of $20 lights at Walmart. They both used the same exact bulb (H-2 or 3 or something like that) but the Hella's blew his away as far as brightness and ligth pattern. If you can foot it go for the quality, stay away from cheap. I have no experience with the PIAA's or other lights so I have nothing to say against them but I swear by Hella's.
I also busted the covers on mine once. Sitting idling in the winter talking to someone and then took off through some real light powdered snow. The sudden cold on the hot lenses cracked them bad. I wrote to Hella asking about ordering new ones and they automatically sent me new lenses for free. Good luck on the $20 ones with that scenario.

Well thanks for the info, but I never thought of KC's as cheap like something you might buy at walmart. I ran Hella Black Magic lights on my other XJ and they were excellent, but you can't use them on the street like the fog lights. I also plan on having a set of dedicated driving lights so I'm not terribly concerned with brightness as much as dispersiona pattern for the fog lights. Lastly, yes price is a concern because I live in the city and park on the street and my lights keep getting broken. So if anyone has spliced the KC's into their factory harness it would be great to know. eace:
