Flying fresno

I just took a new job with skywest airlines, and my new base will be fresno, i live in phoenix, and am considering driving my xj up if there are trails in the 3-3.5 range within a days drive of fresno airport.

You should definately bring your jeep. We have good trails within an hour drive. Swamp, Coyote, Mirror, Dusy Ershim, Strawberry, & Red are all within an hour and a half. Welcome to Fresno, hit me up when you get into town. Early summer is when all the trails open, depending on snow levels.

You should abso-freeking-lutely bring you XJ here. There are some very fun trails and a few wicked ones as well. All of the trails here will get you up in elevation above the heat and give you fantastic views. BenH is a good guy, hook up with him when you get a chance.

You gotta bring your Jeep. Get it up on 33s with a locker for when the snow melts, and there are a ton of trails within 2 hrs that will knock your socks off.

What they said. Some of the best (not hardest mind you) wheelin in CA is nicely tucked away up there.
