yea on mine holes are staring to form I dread having to take up the carpet. On my 86 the only thing holding my feet in is the frame rails.

I had the same thing going on. I started working on the passenger side a couple of days ago. The only nice thing is that there is very little metal that needs to be cut out. It's a lot of work! It is also hard to find time between work and sleep to get very much done, but it will be worth it in the end.

just take the extra time and effort to do it right. and remount the seats properly if you end up cutting out the old mounts
