got some better pic of the skid/crossmember I built awhile back. Skid is 10 gauge with rolled lips on the front and rear, internal bracing (two pieces of angle flip upside down and welded to the inside on each side) and the tranny mounts via a spring bushing welded to the skid(ie Jess's style). Still in the works are a front and rear section.

How are the bolts on the sides attatched? With tubing sleeved through the frame rail?

No, made plates with the nuts welded on the back of them, then cut a hole in the rail and welded the plate in. Similar to how the leaf spring bolt in but the welds won't break on these.

Did you have to cut the tranny tunnel any? Did you clock the tcase?

Nope, I didn't do any tunnel work or clock the t-case. The stock crossmember I had before was serverly bent/crushed in roughly the same place the skid is now, so I don't know if there was any self clearancing done, but I haven't noticed any. The bottom lip of the t-case is just up high enough that the second piece of the skid(still in the process) will slid right under it.

I can try to get some. Jess has a good pic of his somewhere on here and it's basicly the smae idea, except I just welded it to the skid rather then bolt it.
