Hi,
Not many people know me well on here, but I just want to say, I am holding my 21hr old baby girl.

This baby so far has cost me
new tires to my jeep,
A trip to NacFest 06,
A mazda mx6 (two doors not enough.)
A weekend offroad to paragon (july 29th + 30th with muddygp and some others)
and a ton of money.

But there is nothing like looking into the eyes of this little girl.
She is smaller than my arm...

So here is to the daddy cigar..:smoker:

it is not fathers day, but what do you say dad's
its all worth it right?!

Yes, it's worth it. Some days you won't think so, but it is. JIM.

Congrats duck. I have no desire to have kids b/c of the types of kids I work with (the ones that no one else wants to see and no one would, other than me, care if they never showed up at school again). I love kids but I put so much energy into them and see them all the time in this small town that I'm content with re-charging my batteries at home so I can give them my all at school and on the street. Take care of her. She should be much more important than anything like a vehicle or past time.

yeah, they are a lil time consuming, but the payoff is way worth it. give it time...eventually they start pulling there weight.

And before you know it you'll be teaching her how to use the clutch, 4low and best lines. Then picking out her first jeep [got mine a TJ :D]. It will also be a glad/sad day when they move out to go to college and aren't there anymore all the time and you end up worrying about them from a distance...

Absolutely worth it. Never thought things could change so fast or where the time goes, but wouldn't give him up for anything. Where the hell did the last 5 months go???

There she is, just like her daddy, Getting ready to flip some one off... I am so proud :eeks1:

I'm the proud pop of three boys, 19,13,5. The first time I held each one of them I always got the feeling of being ten feet tall and bullet proof. Better than the best bourbon and a high better than any drug could give you!

Congrats! It won't always be easy but it will always be worth it.

Congrats bro, there is nothing like it, you got that right. But by the time my third and final GIRL, I was splitting my time between the labour room and the lobby watching the season finale of NYPD blue. They are all precious and they make you hurt. Just wait till she starts going to dances and such, ahggg! Take it from the father of 13, 11 and 9 yr old girls, the best times are all in front of you, good luck and God bless America.

thanks everyone for your replies

I have been enjoying every moment. right now I am typing with my right hand and holding her with my left...

The smile has not left my face.

Warning: when people tell you that it takes all of your sleep away... believe them.
Last night was three in a line of consecutive sleepless nights for me....

still smiling

Yup, my son was born two days before we moved out of one house in NJ and up to another house in PA. Both families were there helping me to pack and move. Wife and son were home two days after the move....he was two weeks early..

Congrats :) It'll be tough in the beginning but it's all worth it. I had to give up my beloved Dodge Ram for my sons, I needed more room when my second boy was born so I traded it for an XJ... I couldn't be happier :)

Here's my double trouble...

Trouble for sure, Dude! Beautiful! Keep a load of rock salt handy. It's good for clearing the front porch of all those pesky suitors.

Our little girl is almost 7 months old. Yesterday she learned to sign, "Give me." She's got her priorities all lined out. Our 10yo son volunteered to go along on dates with her. He said, "I'll be 25 when she starts dating!" I said, "No. You'll be 30 when she starts dating." We'll see.

Either way, she'll have to pass exam before she dates. There's only one question: "Name and demonstrate (on your brothers) at least 20 ways to take down an assailant. Victim must be, at least, on his knees (extra points for air time on throws), and must be either unconscious or screaming in pain." The alternative is to have Dad riding shotgun.

Oh, yeah. Muduck18! congrats, Dude. You won't regret it! You'll wish you were dead, sometimes, but you won't ever regret it.
