I have a 99 Jeep Grand Cherokee and Im going to be pulling the front rotors off soon to have them resurfaced. Are there any special tools I'll need to get them off or are there any problems that i might run into/tricks to get them off easier? Thanks.

Lift jeep, support. Pull wheels. I believe caliper bolts are a 12 point-13mil. Two bolts are on back side. Remove caliper. Check for lock washer thingies on lugs, remove, remove rotor. If putting new pads on, open brake fluid reservoir cap, compress caliper, one side at a time. Lube everything up, reassemble.

Thanks, thats what i wanted to know. :)

caliper bolts are hex head, dont bother removing them anyways. remove the two 18mm bolts that hold the caliper bracket on and remove the whole assembly. rotor jsut slides off after that.

you may want to use some pb blaster a day before you try to remove the calipher. It makes losening those bolts easier. Rotors are fairly affordable these days. If they are over a few years old or show much wear, you may want to opt to simply replace them.
