finaly got an XJ 99 limited with some stuff

That's all I was saying when I said "too tall", just over all height.

I'd like to only have 4.5 inches of lift on this with 37s but too much cutting and I won't have enough room for the axles and suspension I don't think. I like the look where the big tires are sucked up into the body more.

It can be done fairly easy.. Some tubing and sheet metal fab.

the D30 upfront with the high clearance brackets on it seems pretty close to my oil pan already. well the passenger side does anyway. i'll see what it looks like when i flex it out and start moving it around.

for whatever reason clayton's uca brackets and tb brackets are super tall so just find the hole where your draglink is set and trim the TB one down and not sure what you can do with the rest..

the uppers are moved up just as much as the lowers, it's made for something with a decent amount of lift. not sure if it's a problem, just looks kinda close.

worrying more about how i'm going to use the D60 spindles in the new housing.

housing came in this week as well as the ARB 3rd. going to be some lathe time this week.

i'm looking at doing 63WMS in the back and 64WMS up front. anyone see possible issues with those? seems like a nice middle ground between full width and stock 60in.

Steering is all there, however I need to flip the upper link on the knuckle. It binds and limits full droop on that side.

Only took the better part of a year but I actually have rear brakes on this rig

Run one more brake line and do a once over on all the must and bolts.... The. I'll be read to beat on it for the storm this weekend.

Looks like he has 100 holes in the axle side track bar mount to fix the angle issue.

Bigger issue is you need a RHD draglink end to get back the clearance needed. I'd have ditched the WJ TREs for the draglink, reamed the draglink holes for GM TRE s OTK, and then not have to worry about it. Can't tell if you're already using GM TRE s already.

Flip the tie rod OTK while you're at it.

It looks short but it's not. I thought the same thing when I first saw it, it's part of the new Clayton high steer setup he makes now. I'm not dealing with the drag link flip now, the next owner of the axle can take care of that.

All OEM type TREs for a WJ, I'm just leaving it like this for now, may not even flip the upper one as it only matters at full axle droop. I'll see how I feel after I get the stupid ass spring I'm missing for the rear drum. Some mystery spring is all that's holding this up now.

Oh also got an Aussie for the front off a guy on pirate.

spindles are cut and turned into what i need, just need to machine the true bar pucks.

even got a spring from him that fit on the drum. 4 brakes are ready to go, just waiting on my brother tomorrow to operate the pedal for a final bleed.

Fabs almost done, I think this will be ready to go under the jeep in about a month. I'm also seeing that the 37s are retarded hahaha.
