It wasnt too bad getting the stock stuff off. Had to cut a braket under each light.. nothing a little cut off wheel cant handle.

Only major problem we had was... I kinda broke off a rusted bolt in the steering box. After about an hour and a half of screwing around with that I let it go. I'll deal with that later. I just wanted to get the stinking bumpers on this thing.

All the hardware and mounting plates were excellent and Lined up just as I hoped. No problems, Bolted right up.

Back bumper has twice as many parts and bolts. But with the swing out I was glad to see the beefy structure that is put into these mounting plates.

I'll Get some Finished Pics with the PIAA Lights and rear swing out in the morning. I'm very glad to have bought RIGID bumpers. Very pleased with the results.

So now my next step is to get the 8.25 & SYE mounted. I'm looking for a little warmer weather to get that done. Once I get the Axle and SYE mounted I'll get re geared (4.56) then I'll feel like its complete.

I'll just make my own rock rails at work. Maybe in a year or two I'll switch over to a long arm kit. But thats just a dream at the moment.

those look pretty sweet, how about some more pics of that CJ?:patriot:

that looks sweet!

I hope that you reconnected the black bottle under the stock bumper!

very nice!
I love the look of those bumpers.
if you don't mind measuring, how far does the front stick out from the front of the fascia?
not the prerunner bar but just the bumper.
thanks!

it looks beautiful! might wanna get that steering box fixed asap though...i'm suprised you didn't have broken bolts in the rear, those bolts have always given me grief when i've done bumpers. good job with the install, looks like it wasn't too bad!

i think when i installed my JCR rear bumper on mine, i snapped 5 of the 8 bolts tryin to get the old bumper off....what a pain in the ass.

front bumper was pretty easy tho. steering box brace went in no troubles.

hey man, do you have any more pics of how the front and rear bumpers attach? would you mind posting some more pics of the swingout and how it hinges? i'm trying to get some more ideas for my bumpers, which you saw are still in the works ;-)

maybe?

From the grill to the front of the bumper it's 3 1/2''. From the grill to the front of the d-ring mount..6''.

That's on my 2k at least.

you just need a cut and fold on the rear now. I love mine

If I did I would need different ends on my bumper so F that. I have the rear area all done up the way I want for now. I have lots of plans before I go to the Cut and Fold.

At some point after I mash them up I'll think about it.
