Finally getting my XJ back ...

Yep, that's right after 6 months in insurance prison I'm finally getting my XJ back. arty:

I'll be heading up to E. Providence RI on Friday to pick it up at Adessa Impact ... planning to get there between 10-Noon. As it stands now I have a buddy running shotgun/swap driver with me. Looks like it's a 1040 mile round trip (9+ hours!) ... should be a blast pulling a 24' car trailer behind the F150. At least it should be easier than flat towing an MJ from Eagle's! :shocked: I'm hoping to roll out of here by 12:30am so I can get this all done in the same day - have places I have to be Saturday morning :confused1

Unless the yard brands the title, it looks like it will still have a clean title. I am planning on parting out the aftermarket stuff, then selling the chassis/title. I have a new project that I should be picking up later the same weekend in MD so the only things I plan to keep are the engine, tranny, and maybe the rear axle.

holy crap bill!! glad you are finally getting to take it home..... just out of curiosity what (if anything) happened to the other driver? jail? slap on the wrist? im sure you are happy to be close to closing this very long chapter huh? good luck !!!!

Not sure what happened to the other driver ... I'm not done with him yet - my lawyers are handling the medical side of the claim.

Heard you've had a rough time lately, things getting back to normal I hope?

NAC Fest is this weekend!?! I guess I haven't been following to closely while Jeepless. I'm sure we'll cross paths again - hopefully this time at an event!
