so, for those of you that have completely homebrew weld in or bolt in cages: how much $$$ do you have into your cage.

I think this cage does need some trianglulation and to be tied into the unibody, but I don't think it would be that hard to add that to it.

I have been considering going with a bolt in cage and adding to it. I don't really like the idea of welding inside the vehicle, and I don't think it would be very hard to buy some more of those clamps (Poly sells them) and build some triangulation. especially for someone who doesn't have easy access to a bender like me

I am just curious to see if it would be cost effective to go this route.

About $550 worth of DOM but I run a hybrid cage with about 160 feet of tube.

Welding inside a vehicle sucks but can be done when the cage is built certain ways quite well.....
