Crazy how life smacks you in the face sometimes... at least we are engaged with a date set.

So yeah, Its going to be a while before I can afford to do anything with the HEEP.

Wish me luck guys, this is the most life changing event thats ever happened to me.

Congrats!!! I wish ya the best!!:patriot:

Dude, congratulations! You should have the baby at Memorial. My mom is a Labor and Delivery nurse there =P

Yeah man, I just had my kid July. The wife tries to say she did all the hard work, but come on. :D

It'll be great, try and make sure you're there for the birth. Craziest and greatest thing you'll ever experience.

Congrats man! There's nothing quite like a pregnancy and new baby for changing up your priorities. What's important to you now will be quite a bit different than what's important 9 months from now. :D Except the Jeep, of course. ;)

We had two little girls when we bought the XJ. It took me 10 years before I could do anything to it and even then I really couldn't afford to do it.

Wait, I bet I'm depressing you now. :laugh3:

Jonathon -- it is both the toughest and most rewarding thing that will ever happen for you -- congrats! It won't be too long before their giggling in the back seat while you bounce over the trail like my boys do!

congrats. you will eventually get back to the jeep as a great way to get the family together on weekends. keep that in mind when you are wondering if the sleepless nights will ever end :) don't worry they will.

mine is 13 now and he is asking when he gets to drive the jeep. (like that will ever happen, ive seen how he drives his video games lol)

First off; CONGRATS!!! party1:

Second; I personally waited until I was 36-37 to have our first child so I struggle with the older age keeping up with the little monster :looney:

He is almost 1 year old now and I would never trade it for the world. He is my new Jeepin buddy and I can not wait till he gets older and says; "Come on dad lets go wheeling!"

You have to set priorities but you can still work on the jeep just do not plan on spending $1000's at a time. When I did my CJ-7 I spent probably $10,000 on it a 2 year period of time cause I was single and had a lot of disposable income. Got married and three years later........

........I have spent a total of maybe $3000 on my XJ, but I have wheeled more in a year with it than my CJ. Learned 8-9 years ago to do a lot of my own fab work which now is a great skill because it is a lot cheaper. The moral here is set your priorities, have an understanding fiance, and make the money you spend on the heep the important stuff. As the child gets older your going to spend more money on him/her but always use the excuse of; "Honey I need to get this because it will make it safer and better when we all go wheeling." :D

Congrats man! My wife is due in April. This is my excuse to convince the woman I need a roll cage, for the baby's safety :D

Hrm, I wonder if she's flown on our airplanes then.

I don't think so. She is a charge nurse at night... haven't heard of any airplanes.

Now I am all depressed...again...:tear::eye:

Congrats, we have given a lot of our baby stuff away, we had four so we had a lot of stuff. I can look around if we have anything good you are welcome to it if you need it.

Huh?

As Jessica Simpson would say; "Are you feeling emotionable?"

Put all that anger and emotions into your Jeep..............therapy. :loveu:

What can I say, I like spending time with a good woman who loves me......now I have to start over.......been way to long since I was in the field!! :gee:

If you have seen my Heep, you would see that I have put lots of emotion into it....$$$$$$$$$$ .....now I am a broke arse guy with a dusty wallet..

Congrats!

There is still fun to be had on a budget. You just have to get used to the part about being cheap.
