Fender

Does anyone have a drivers side fender that is in good shape laying around they don't need? I have decided to abandon the TJ flare thing. I don't think they look good with a 3" lift and 31's. I may go to Sorta Fit in Denver to get a black one but we're saving for a house right now and so I may end up getting colorful with my Jeep. If no one has one, can you steer me towards the decent boneyards in the area? Thanks.

What is going to happen to the old tj flares you had?

At the moment I have no plans for them. I trimmed that 1/4" lip of the fronts and those large tabs. When I mounted the drivers side front I boogered up the knotch closest to the door, towards the bottom. The fender comes out at that point and I am not at all happy with how it looks. I COULD just the flare straight across there so it's even with that body line and that would salvage things. My only problem is that I thought that ONE was a royal PITA to install, and I haven't even gotten to the rears. I also don't think they look all that hot on mine with the smaller tires. I researched after I got the one and I don't think I saw anyone with tires smaller than 33. Theirs looked great.

A-1 recycling. They've always got few XJ's there...and you dig around for some LeBaron hood venta while you're at it.

I have been hitting the yards alot in the last few weeks....Pull and save has a clean white XJ with both front fenders...Western has a white one as well but you have to ask to go see it as its not in the general population..the one at western is a 92 limited (still has engine as well $125)

I have a driver's side white fender that you can have. I wouldn't say it is in "good" shape....but it would work. Let me know if you're interested and I'll go take a picture.

If you decide to get rid of the flares I would be interested in the rears. I Have one set of TJ rears and need another to complete my project.
