Fender trimming and BBQ Sat 1/15

Sorry guys. I really need and want to trim my fenders. I worked a 19 hr days yesterday, didn't get home until 2:30 AM! I am still beat. I have been on 4 seperate conference calls today.

I hope things went well for everyone.

See you on the trail soon...

Robert

Well, a lot of work got done today. But not on my Jeep :( So I still need my fenders trimmed. Gonna go back to Stephan's place at a future date.

A lot more than fender trimming was going on. Like Kev's oil filter housing o-rings and motor mounts. And Justins' coil spring spacers, which went well past sundown.

Good time though. Thanks to Stephan and Sonia for the hospitality and BBQ.

I ended up having to work all day, by the time the next Fender trimming comes around I should be ready to do mine. Right now I'm in search of a tap extractor, yes, I broke it off doing my hack and tap! Fun fun

haha so true what did we do trim like 2 jeeps? it was fun to be down there and meet some new people and even SAVE a lot of money doing my motor mounts down there. Thanks for you help Johnny and Mike and Karstic( i cant remember your name sorry)

Kevin I thought you were going to work!!! Sonia and I just got home from dinner. Let's see I finished my rear fenders. Thom cut his rear fenders. Kevin had new motor mounts installed, o-rings replaced on the oil filter adapter, and his throttle body cleaned. On Justins Jeep we installed the front coil spacers and found out the front BPE's from RRO don't fit, ARRGH.

Johnny send me an email and we'll set a date to trim your rear fenders.

i got off at 9 there was nothing to do i felt like just going to sleep in the backroom on top of some pallets it was so boring... i ended up watching the football games and looking at magazines. And dreaming of when i get the lift i want to get. I forgot the CUTTER i realized that on my way home i was so mad. i already talked to scott and let him know. hopefully with help from my parents in about 2 months i will have a 4.5" RE Lift? it might be time to have a lift party i will bring the beer?

When you're ready to do it again let me know and I'll try to swing by and stick around longer (and Stephen: maybe I'll bring some sort of a tool with me that actually cuts :D)

So Kevin, are the vibes all gone now with the new motor mounts?

yea they are all gone now.. it drives so smooth now... tommorow i am gonna help my friend pull out his motor so that will prolly be some fun... i will prolly cut my rear fenders too while i have access to the tools

Thanks again for all the help with getting my spacers installed! :D Had a good time and thanks to Stephen, I think I shall indeed wait to trim until I get my "real" lift and 33s ready for install. Could be a while... Sorry John couldn't get his fenders trimmed, never expected it to take as long as it did to get those spacers installed. Shoulda known, it is a Jeep, nothing goes according to plan! Maybe I'll have to make my way back up there again sometime, find some dirt to play in. And maybe I'll get around to adjusting my headlights down some so I don't keep ticking everyone off at night...
