Fender Flares falling off

I have a 99 XJ that has the fender flares falling off, what can I do to secure them. They seems to be just clip with one screw when they fall off, what can I do to keep them from trying to come off.

Get new clips, bolts, and lock-tite. :)
That wont help,it the little "tits" on the flare that wear/break!

Start by unbolting the metal retaining plates from the body. There are several 10mm nuts that you will need to remove. Soak them with PB blaster before you start to minimize breakage. But you will most likely break some anyway. One per plate won't hurt, but if you break more, you can drill a hole in the broken stud and weld in a new one.

After you get the plates off, install them on the flare. You can bend them a bit to make the connection tighter. After that, just bolt them back on and they will stay.

 If you break the studs on the retainers & don't have access to a welder just driill them out & nut & bolt them. It's not as nice as welding them, you have to deal another wrench in a tight spot but it does work. Durango Bob is correct, you will break more than one. What happened to the flare? did it fall off or did you tear it off? if you rip them off, usually there is other damage. If you ripped it off wheeling you'll get good at fixing them or you'll learn to live without them.
