Feeler: RC & fishing, mid-May...

The warm weather will be here soon enough and I'm itching to get my tires dirty and the lures wet. Carol, in her infinite wisdom, gave my Dad a voucher for a couple nights at TwinGrove and two vouchers for PA tourist fishing licenses so he and I can get out for a weekend together. My rough plan is to go up early on a friday and stay the weekend, fishing one day and doing some light wheeling at Rausch the other...Any interest? We did this last fall and it was a really good time.

Im going to try. Memorial day weekend is a Underground jeeps run that Im going to. if I have everything on my jeep done before the fishing trip Ill probably come.
 
cool. for those reading: this is not an official event, and there is NO structure..If you just want to camp and fish, great. If you want to wheel all weekend, fine..This is a loose get-together, nothing more.

I will be at the park on the 11th for the Wounded Warrior Ride. But it will be a one day event for me. Funds are low and the kid comes first. But I will be happy to stop over and say HELLO at night
 
I hear ya, John..We'll probably be fishing that day but I'll try to stop by the park in the afternoon to see you coming out. That way I can get my membership renewed and dont have to deal with it first thing in the morning.
 
The only weekend I'm free in May is the 18th/19th. So most likely I won't be able to go to this one
 
I will definitely be coming up for this .... or at least part of it.

I'll be tenting at Twin Grove on Saturday night for sure.

Might come up Sat morning and wheel with John in the Wounded Warrior Run .... might come up Saturday afternoon and wheel on Sunday .... might fish ... might not ... who knows.

At the very least, I'll have my son with me .... but I'm trying really hard to get my daughter and wife to come along as well.
 
Just rented a cabin for Friday and Saturday night .... they are running a special that weekend .... two nights for the price of one. Can't beat that!!!

I'm looking forward to this!
 
I'm leaning toward running the W/W run too, then fishing Sunday. Thanks for the heads up Jordan, I better get a cabin reserved...text me your cabin # I'll try to get one close by (there will be food involved, but you knew that already)

ok so if I can go it will be a last min thing. I may have a side job that weekend. and cant pass up the money.

so to summ it up no side job and finished jeep= go

side job or unfinished jeep= no go
 
Ill pass that torch off to Jordan. he loves that movie too.

I cant wait to see the new one. now if Andy would get off his butt and buy it for his kids so I can watch it!

HAha!!! Those movies are really funny. I don't think its out on video yet, or we would probably have it!!

FYI... Lee and I may be making an appearance for this on Friday or Saturday... or both...:anon:
