Feeler: Detours Backbone

I'm considering selling my winch mount and buying a whole winch bumper. It was bought brand new in March/April 2008. When I got it, it was either primered or POR-15'ed, (have to check their site), and I painted it semi-gloss black about 3 coats worth. I would like to see how much I could get for it. It was $320 shipped to my door from Detours. Here's a link to it...

It's not bent. I think it's just the angle the pic was taken. I thought it looked a bit funny too.

Looks like I will be getting that bumper on Friday. After I receive it and get it installed, I'll have the backbone ready for who ever wants it. So, reply if you want it. Couple guys have said they are interested, but I want to make sure they really want it. I'll send PM to those who reply.

Well, neither XJCOASTIE nor billyjp2 have replied to my messages. Backbone is up for grabs. I'll be putting it on craigslist soon, so you guys have first dibs for a little while longer.

Did you end up getting the new bumper?

Oops. Yes, I got the new bumper last Monday. It's bare and unfinished. I am adding some light mounts and painting it, when I get time that is. I mostly wanted an idea of if I could sell the backbone and about how much I could get for it before I bought my new bumper. It will definitely be for sale though. I just don't want to give anyone the wrong impression that it is ready to go now.

Long story short... It will be for sale and I will post up as soon as it is off the Jeep and ready to go, (in a month at the earliest). I will probably start a new thread when it is. Thanks for the interest.
