Feeler: 2000 Focus LX, great DD

The Good:

• Gets 27-29 mpg with mostly city driving and 32+ on the highway at 75.
• Has more power than you'd expect on the highway, smooth driver on the interstate.
• 102k miles
• Stick shift
• Manual windows and locks, never have to worry about them quitting
• Fits my big self reasonably comfortably.
• Very roomy trunk if you ever need to put stuff in it, fit one 33x12.50 with room to spare.
• Comes with new Centerforce clutch, designed for modified Foci with more power than mine. Bought it to swap in a while ago, never got around to it. Current clutch still works fine.
• I had the fuel pump recall performed already so it has a new fuel pump.

The bad:

• The CD player is dead, radio works but no CDs.
• The driver's side seat back recline handle stripped and doesn't recline anymore. If you need to adjust, the mechanism still works, you just have to use a pair of pliers.
• Needs a fuel filter, which I am working on.

The indifferent:

• It's red
• Has a light window tint job (AZ legal)
• Still wears stock steel wheels
• I just put in some new Silverstar 4100K halogens. Wanted to see if they were brighter than stock. Stock bulbs are still good and can be swapped as a backup.
• Alternator is new from a couple years ago along with the battery.
• Ignition coil, plugs and spark plug wires are new from less than a year ago.

I'm looking for $2000 obo. Also may be interested in a trade for a pickup truck, preferably 4x4, either truck plus cash or Focus plus cash depending on the truck. Or as a partial trade for a 99+ Chevy/GMC V8, 5.3 or larger if I buy my co workers truck.

If someone comes along and is interested in buying and we can work out a good deal, I'm ready to sell, but not desperate (yet)

4dr spi motor. Not much off the blocks but 75 mph in 5th is right in it's powerband so it does real good on the highway.

You've seen it Scott, I drove it to Burger Time when I wasn't in the minivan... I'll try to get some pics up. It's always just been my DD so I never bothered taking any pics...
