I hate my razr. The sound quality has degraded gradually since I got it, to the point where it's almost useless.

This seems to be a problem with Motorolla phones. I have Cingular and a V555. I have replaced it once because gradually the sound went away until I had to use a hands free set to even use the phone. I got it replaced and now this one is doing the same thing.

I know a dude with a V505 and its doing the same thing.

I hate Motorolla.

My E815 freezes and resets itself at least twice a day. If it wasn't for that I'd like it. Nice large screen and good battery life. Just that damn restarting issue...

Thanks for all the help guys and gals. I think I am going to go with the v325. However we may get the Pink Razor for my wife. We'll see.

I had this phone (v325) and promptly returned it. Tri-band is what sold me, but if you are in an area that the first two digital bands aren't working the chances that the analog band won't work (or work well enough to make a call) are very likely. I learned this first hand during the first 3 days I had my phone and had to travel to MA, upstate NY and through NJ into eastern PA, 17 dropped calls (when I could make them) and overall terrible reception on the road. Imagine if I really went somewhere in the boonies. Even in my apartment in NYC it only had 3 bars compared to my e815 which is almost always at full reception, even in the tunnels. I made the same weekend trip with my e815, not dropped/missed calls and no complaints from me.

Not to mention the VZW interface on the v325 is slow, clunky and at times frustrating.

I picked the e815 for all the aforementioned reasons (mostly mentioned by RichP), and I couldn't be happier. Prior to 3/11 I was an at&t/cingular customer for 7 years - I don't know what took me so long to switch.
