exocage legality?

How legal is an exo-cage in PA? is this something that would be totally out of the realm of acceptable? i have some plans in process but want to still have fun on the roads with it as well.

I don't really know the laws down there, but what would be illegal about it?

Up here there are restrictions about how far things can extend beyond the bumpers on either side, but an exo normally would be as close to the body as possible, so that's not really a concern. As for the brunt of it on top of the vehicle, what's the difference between it and say a ladder rack on a truck? Or even a large aftermarket crossbars, a basket assembly, bike racks, or canoe/kayak racks?

hehe i just ran acros my old buddy who i used to build pro modified drag cars with and guess what! he now has a tube bender and builds chassis for a living hehe. could be cool. just dont want to go hog wild and end up not being able to drive it.

I've heard more about Stingers being illegal that exo cages.

well regardless im going for more of a 'brushguard' on the front than 10' of unneccessary (for me) stinger anyways
