I need your opinion...again! :roflmao: What do you think of euro ("clears") tailights on an XJ? Personally, I think it gives an American vehicle too much of a "riced out" look. I want to make my XJ stand out, but not like a REAL sore thumb. I was also thinking about taillight covers, but I don't think they're legal.

:helpme:

The next thing you know you'll be asking if the 31's make your ass look fat. Sorry I couldn't resist. Around here youre lucky if you still have tail lights left.

Covers or euros are homo spend your money on something worth a damn :twak:

If you're planning to wheel it.. think about how much it costs to replace a busted one. I'm thinking about building some tail light boxes, so maybe getting creative with one of those might be the answer.

it depends on if you want to look like an idiot or not ("euros" make you look like an idiot) but if you are an idiot, do it... hey doesn't this belong in the the street and performance retards discussion

Okay, now go back and read what I said: Personally, I think it gives an American vehicle too much of a "riced out" look. I didn't say I liked them, and whether you like them or not, keep the insults to yourself. (That includes everyone!!)

punkie??? what type fo word is that?

is this really a homo convention then?

but getting serious if you want to make ur jeep "stand out" get some damn tail light guards. they protect them from breaking and look good. But if you want to look like a honda go for it, next thing you know jeeps will be in fast and furious

Hence his user name, Dells = XJ Punk.

The answer to your second question, no...Just getting opinions that just re-enforce my opinion on euro lights (see my first post on this thread.)

Paying money for clear marker lights is :rainbow:

r@m

I saw one of those aweome Double winged spoilers on ebay that would make it stand out and give you wicked downforce :hang: <-just a suggestion

A waste of money, if your going to wheel it stick with the stockers they are cheap to replace for fab up some custom boxes for rear lights. Rusty's Offroad sells them but they are cheaper to make. If you want to spend the money go ahead it's your Jeep, but they aren't cheap. Juice

Listen ass clown, you are an imature jackass. Have you ever actually read any of the theads in the street and performance forum? Most of it is tech on engine components, forced induction, and suspension mods. I wheel my jeep hard but I guarantee I could blow your doors off, and that forum gets a lot of credit for my knowledge. So unless you know what youre talking about shut your imature ass up. Everone builds their vehicle to suit their tastes.

Everybody, calm down. BigRed just asked a question, no need to insult him or question is sexuality. :twak:

Now...

Personally I'd stick with the stock lights. If you want to look a little different there are two routes I'd go. First, XJ Wagoneer lights, those are fully red (no amber) and fairly easy to install. the second would be real Euro lights. That is European spec XJ lights, those won't be easy to obtain though.

"Euro Lights" are a joke, they're not Europe at all, they'd be cited for those lamps in a heartbeat, Europe is much tougher on lighting than the US.

If you get the Euro-spec lamps keep your stockers. When you hit trails you want to put the stockers back in so they take the hits, not the hard to obtain lamps.

I think it is a waste of money. I would just spend the money for protection for your stock lights. The 'euro' lights provide no more light then stock. I think 'euros' belong on the ricers.
