Entire 1999 swap to a 1990 XJ-long read

Well finally got some more work done after being out of town all last week. Got the whole engine bay (relatively speaking) and the whole dash area gutted. And yes those are red Comanche fenders on a 1990 XJ, I know it's messed up. I think I've gotten to the point of no return. :D

The bottom picture shows the bracket that has to be drilled out. From what I gather, you drill all the spot welds out of it, then weld the 97+ bracket up in it's place. What I'm trying to figure out is what to use for reference. It appears the brake booster/pedal 4 bolts stayed the same throughout the years, so hopefully that's a break. Anymore comments?
 
did you Pshop yourself into the engine bay there or is the contrast in that picture very high?

It may just be the contrast. I actually am in there.
