hey y'all
i am in need to rebuild my brakes on my 16' car trailer
at first, i was suppose to fix the loose wheel bearings and some wiring and adjust the shoes. i simply get the cotter pin out and re tighten and so on, but i got the drum off and found that the shoe's lining starts to coming off and tried to fix the wiring (came out tht the wiring's ok) but the electromagent dont work anymore on one side..
i was like, ok this's good time to get new brakes.
i went on ebay and i found bunch of them going from about $60 to $100 for pair (mines a 10"x2.25" drums IIRC)
what i see many of them talking about "DEXTER" and some other brands, i want to get a good brake set up that will last as long as the lining does ( a whole new brake assembly for $80 every few years, cant beat that)
anything work fine or some brands to avoid or recommended?? id really like to get wheels back on the trailer!
TIA
