Results are in and have been tallied by Matt Speice, our web master and the guy who set up the voting system. Many thanks to Matt, because I wouldn't have had a clue how to run the election without his help. As it is, my bumbling almost messed up the reporting, but we resolved that, thanks to Matt.

27 people voted. I haven't run an updated count of total membership in the NAC chapter area, but I think it's a very low percentage, which is a bit disappointing. Nonetheless:

President: Ben Satanoff (Unanimous)

Vice-President:
.....Mike Chapline - 15
.....Bob Lester - 12

Recorder: Marshall Smith (Unanimous)

Treasurer: Paul Flohr (Unanimous)

Director-at-Large:
.....John Bergacs - 26
.....Abstain - 1

Thanks to all the candidates for being willing to take on the responsibility of leading the chapter. The NAC is the first and I believe it is still the largest (both in geography and in membership) chapter in NAXJA. "I will look forward to working with my successor's transition team to ensure a smooth hand-off." (Does that sound properly erudite and political?)

Congratulations to the new officers.

Mark, our term ends at midnight on 31 December. There is the little detail of changing over signature cards at the bank. I have already PM'd the president-elect to start that ball rolling.

I will be in NJ during Thanksgiving week if my presence is required.

Let me know a good time to get together for the bank stuff. Thanksgiving week is a good time for me.
Thanks for those who voted. Juice

thanks to everyone who participated in the NAC election... i appreciate the support and i hope to serve my term to the satisfaction of all the members..

it's too bad that so few voted. It would be nice to see our members take the initiative occasionaly

Ya, thanks for taking the time to vote. Hope to be an active member of the new team and that we're able to advance the NAC chapter.

Anyone who has paperwork that needs to be saved for the future, pm me and we'll arrange a transfer. I've got a whole draw in the filing cabinet cleaned out and waiting for the stuff. Also looking for any paperwork from past NAC events that I can have on file for the teams that run the events in the future, either attendence lists or correction of errors reports, anything like that. :paperwork

Thanks again!

Good idea. Sometime in the next few weeks, I'll try to make some sense of the NACFest info I have from 2002-2004 and put it in a condition that you'll be able to read!

In the meantime, PM me your mailing address.

Congratulations to all candidates - good to see that NAC continues to be in the hands of committed folks.
