Elec fan conversion, 2.5 comanche

Hi all any input is welcome as I would like to swap out my mj's 2.5L clutch fan for an electric unit on a toggle switch. What ones would work cause I have the elec fan from my 97 xj with 4.0L. Just not sure if it would move enough air. Like I said any input is welcome thanks.

i've heard of taurus fans and volvo s70(?) fans being used. Your best bet might be to take some measurements of the kind of room you're working with under the hood of your jeep and hit the junkyard with a pad and paper to see what options are out there.

I got a volvo fan (same motor as taurus fans, iirc, maybe same housing as well?) at the junkyard recently hoping to put it on my MJ, it's about 3-4" too tall to clear the hood and the rad crossmember at the same time. Somewhat disappointed, it'd fit a YJ/TJ fine I think but XJ/MJ is right out. Maybe a ZJ as well.

ZJ radiators are a few inches taller than XJ/MJ.

I was thinking that too when I was on the junkyard but I am not sure how to know if they will move enough air ya know. Seems no one lists fan cfm unless its an aftermarket dealy. So I looked at a few that were similar in size to xj ones in hopes I can maybe compare them to ones in my summit and kegs catalogs. Also figured many minds thinking about this is better than one lol.
