That was right after the motorcade left the base. If I had done that while he was still on the premises, I would have gotten a few verbal warnings over a loudspeaker before I was personally escorted back into my building, or else be shot depending on how threatening I looked. We had some idiot in our parking lot with a camera phone while the President was disembarking. Needless to say he was cuffed and quickly relocated.

I thought .50 cal was standard issue? Saw some pics once, incredible range, goodbye soft tissue.

30 caliber variant on a remington 700 action probably. either 30-06 or 308. Just a guess.
