How did you attach the header to the house? Did you use those metal joist hangers for the joists? I picked up some hangers today to make the same sort of thing behind my shop for my wood and metal piles. Nothing fancy like yours but same principle. Nice Job!

Hangers take too much time.

I like to use pressure blocks. I lag bolted a 2x6 header to the house, and then used the pressure blocks to attach the joists. You attach a 13" pressure block 1.5" in from the end of the header, and the attach the joists to that, and so on down the line.

On a stucco house, dont lag too much, or you will crush the foam.
