Ok what weekend in November? December better? I'd like a good mix of 3 - 5 people to go. Who is interested and who can go when?
I may just drive the Wrangler to this one. Even though it's fairly capable, there will be no real wheeling for me; just spectating & scouting since I want to keep it in good shape. This will be a tight time of year for us with the holidays. We will be going to Mullins for Thanksgiving, then December is Christmas. But I definitely want to go check the place out!
Honestly I'm thinking middle November might be better for me. Get into Late December and we have Christmas to contend with.

I saw that some people over on TNJeeps went to Durhamtown Tellico last weekend, and asked their opinion. The only person that has answered so far went back in July. His response:
"We went in June and at that time they had a lot to do. Beautiful area but not a lot of challenge. Give it some time and it will be worth going."
He's on a lifted JK, so who knows what his definition of challenging is.
I'll be in Mullins. I was actually gonna see if you & D wanted to meet up with us for lunch that day. I'm sure the ladies will get along great, and I wanted to see if I could talk you out of your tube bender lol.
Unfortunately, I believe my wheeling days are over for a little while until my doc figures out what's up with my knees. I went for the MRI's yesterday and am waiting to hear back. Doc thinks it's torn meniscus in both, and those don't heal on their own from what I've read. It seems as though 2014 just isn't quite done with our bank account yet......:flamemad:
Unfortunately, I've burnt up my allotted wheeling days for the year.
Love the recon. My initial thought is........looks messy when wet, but fun otherwise. Did you get to go into the shack and meet the folks?
