Na, Partner in Crime is a Dealer I work with alot. She takes in and gives out thousands of dollars when we work together. We spend alot of time BSing about things going on.

:repair: LOCKER:confused1 What did you say saturday they didn`t make that much difference or was that just for snow.

For the record:
1. I do believe that Lockers are over rated.
2. I do believe that Lockers are extremely helpful in many situations.
3. I do not believe that Lockers are as helpful in Snow (they can be, but not normally, and not as useful as they are on dirt/rock/etc).
4. I am now do have a locker in the rear of my xj and will be putting in a front locker sometime in the future.

blast!!! not having internet is killing me. Didn't get to see this thread till today. Those of you wondering about hotel/motel accomodations, Banks or Tillamook are the closest places, almost equal times from either place up to the summit (I'm assuming we'll be going in at Browns Camp (?), it's the largest OHV area up there).

Let me know when the pre-run is, I would love to get up there for a day.

I can't speak for NWfest 2006 but both 2004 and 2005 required a membership UNLESS you were a guest of a member in attendence.

That's a by-law thing...and not a bad idea anyway just to keep things 'in the family.' Our informal runs are to hook 'em...and by NWFest it's too late to run. :confused1

Now I am getting a constant reminder of what I need to do to my Jeep.

I am looking for a new daily driver and we are looking for a new van for the wife. As soon as I talk about getting the wheels back to stock on the trade-in and the stereo out, the 7 year old starts in...

"Then we need to install the CB and the bumper."

Last weekend after I got home from work, he came up to me and told me his boots were ready to go 4wheelin. He knows about NWFest in August and thinks we are going within the next month.

So anyone from WA/ID/MT/OR is saving $$$ for gas to drive down and back with? I thinking about filling up some empty gas cans now and saving them for a few months until we go. Who knows, it may be $5.00 a gallon by then. Might as well go for some 101 octane for .17 cents more. Just a crazy thought I have at the moment.

never been to an event before. (new member) i was wondering if a winch is adaquate for a front tow point. my front bumper has a winch plate, but no points to mount a hook or some d-rings.

So long as the winch is operable...I don't see why not. You do realize that you can't yank from a winch cable, right? We're not hooking a strap to your winch and yanking you out. They're just not designed for shock loads.

if i needed a pull, i would use the winch to pull myself. no strap. just wanted to be "legal" as far as the by-laws go for my first event.
