dual elec fans? who's using them...

while out wheeling the other day, somehow my mech fan hit and tore up my radiator. replacement of a 3 row was $200, I really don't want to do that again. of course I'm trying to figure why my motor slid forward, I do know that my tranny mount is broke. and yes, fix the problem, don't band-aid it.

I did it. 14" ProComp 2053S, with a Flexalite 31165 variable speed controller. Cheap, adequate, and not as noisy as the mech fan. It will also never bend or come loose and eat the belt or radiator, nor will I lose fingers or animals in it. And, of course, it was a good excuse to get familiar with my cooling system, which was pretty neglected until I started this. Why modify a station wagon at all? Because it's fun.

I do, i used a set of condenser fans from a mini bus, the kind that are mounted on the lower side of the bus. I could get a part number. Work well except when i would be on a steep incline for a period of time, they would shut off. wired one to a switch and im good to go!

ive got a flex a lite 143 or 133 or somthin anyway its nice i was cheap and didnt get a thermo i just have it wired to a relay and a manual switch inside. but it works good dont have to use it much just when sittin in traffic
