How/where is the DRL module (daytime running light) on an XJ? I know how/when to turn my lights on and having DRLs makes it hard for the photographer

and ya I searched for a while.. I hate the minimum search time of 15 seconds, especially when your search returns 0 results <shake head>

Under the hood on the passenger side fender, back towards the firewall. Should be a black box about the size of a pack of cigarettes.
Been a long time since I've seen one, so take that description for what it's worth. Also, IIRC, that's for a '97-up. Without knowing the year of your XJ, there's no way to say for certain that it'll be anywhere even near that.
