As the title says, I still have some play in my DS where it connects to the yoke in the rear after replacing with a new u joint.
Im hoping it is just too small, MasterPro (3.217in), that or the tabs on the yoke are worn down.
I just ordered a Spicer 1310 (3.219in), hopefully this will be enough to close the gap.
Since the old u joint also had slop (original joint 390,000 miles), im thinking the tabs have worn down now.
Anyway, what do yall think about adding shims if this new spicer piece is also too small? Just temporary until I can get the rear diff rebuilt.
