Driveshaft Length

I am swapping a dana 44 out of a 87 xj into my 91 xj and was wondering if my existing driveshaft will work with the 44, I currently have a dana 35, np 231 transfer case. Any input would be greatly appreciated

IIRC, the difference is less than an inch.

I'm running the D35 shaft w/ my D44 @ approx 3" lift and I don't have any trouble.

hell, if ya have to, just move the axle back
