driveshaft asap wtb

Im in desperate need of a driveshaft for my xj, rear; 5 speed manual transmission with an 8 1/4 rear end. As I write this im stuck on the highway and i checked car-part.com and the closet one is in maine.

Im getting a tow to my house, but am looking to buy something for the weekend...

Pull the driveshaft off the transfer case (I'm assuming it blew at the axle end) and put it in 4 part time, drive it home. No need for a tow unless it came apart at the transfer case end and is flapping around on the axle pinion.

I don't have a driveshaft for you but there was one at Sams pull a part in worcester a month or two ago. Probably isn't there anymore but if I get a chance (might be going there in the next few days) I'll check.

Also give Jeeps Unlimited a call, they're in providence, one of the guys is on here actually. They might have something for you.

It blew at the transfer case end, and my tools are at home, just did ball joints and my tools are at home. The tow is free, gf has AAA gold... Thanks though, yeah if you find one let me know... I could always call them too... 99+ manuals are rare I guess...

Yeah Im right down the street from them now actually, I use them a lot, but find them high, but I guess in ghis situation may not have a choice... New u joints too, curious to check it out when I get home.

I just took one out of my xj so if you need one I have one in the Worcester area. I have a friend in Providence who usually drives from Worcester to Providence so i might be able to get it to you if for some reason powerram's doesn't work out.
