need a nutstriop for the drivers side fo rmy hidden hitch.

I have the one I just pulled from my passenger side off of my 98 if you want it. $10 + shipping? PM me if you're interested. It's in good shape, a bit of surface rust, but not much.

are they the same? not sure since there are 2 part #s.

No... They are different for each side.

Thnaks..I'll give it a few more days then I'll just order a new one.

I can't post a picture for you, but I have one. If you give me your email, I'll send it. The bolt holes on the "frame" and the spacing between the should be and is the same, that is why the holes in your hitch are the same. The passenger side nutstrip has one extra nut, which makes it longer, which makes it different from the drivers side. This extra nut is for your exhaust hanger mount. You should be able to install this nutstrip on the drivers side with no problems, you just won't need the extra nut unless you're really modding your exhaust. Make up your own mind, but don't just tell me it's different when I know it's different. "Different" does not mean it won't work.

If you put both together, you'll see they are different. The exhaust hanger uses 2 of the holes the hitch uses. With having to remove the bumper and all to get the strip(s) in, save yourself a lot of headache, and get the correct one and do it right the first time.

I have a Reese brand hitch on mine, and it came with individual nut strips. ie; one nut per strip. I did not have to remove my bumper to mount it. Just slide them in one at a time, and run the bolts in.
