so ive been told that the driveline vibs im feelin are comin from the rear drive-shaft and the only way to get rid of them it to get a SYE kit and new CV drive-shaft put on i think i the shop that i was at told me to get a tom woods drive-shaft and the new shorty shaft SYE kit (cant remember the company name) all to the tune of $800 which is a lot of money. anyone done this on an XJ with a 3-3.5 inch lift? did it make a difference and how much? im in college right now and i do a lot of highway drivin and the vibs i get at 70 mph are drivin my crazy becuz it makes so many things rattle inside the jeep that i have to turn the music up and i cant really talk to anyone who is in the jeep with me. also anyone put those JKS control arms on their jeep? i looked them up and they use the OEM rubber bushings for better ride quality which is somehtin i look for in suspension parts since i do so much highway drivin now

Do you have a transfer case drop installed?

I bought my 1997 a few weeks back and it had horrible vibration.... turns out there was an Add-A-Leaf in the rear. I installed a 4.5" lift, kept my spring packs, and added the raised shackles and the vibration got worse. Installed the transfer case drop and it all went away except for a tiny vibration at full throttle from about 35-40 MPH. I can live with that.

do you have a d35 or is it the 8.25 ive heard that with the 8.25 jeep shortened the ears on the output shaft of the t case because the yoke on the axle is longer. anyway if you replace the output on the t-case withg one from a d35 setup it fixes the vibs but i of course just put a 1.5" square tube under the t-case crossmember and did away with all vibes together.
