Drag link and disco issue.

My draglink (where it meets the tie rod) will sometimes catch on the passenger side JKS disconnect and make a popping sounds as it grinds past the disco. This occurs when I sometimes turn right (obviously). Anyone else experience this and is this a known issue? If so, what to fix or what to look for?

About my truck... 95 4.0 auto. RE 5.5 w/ 35's. Hp d30 front d44 rear.
Anyone?

got the same problem, even with a 1" drop pitman arm. I'm not running a front sway-bar because of this. I thought the drop arm might help, but it still hits, so now the only thing I can think of is to get a set of 1 or 2 inch sway-bar raise mounts from ORGS and weld them up. Hope this help, I am also looking for other ideas, anybody got any.

check your caster. sounds like your axle is rotated too much forward.

i have the exact same problem. 5.5" and 35's. its not my caster (6*). time to move teh swaybar mounts.

Check the upper CA axle bushings.

In that 2nd picture it looks off center in the bushing.

This is a common problem.
