Do not buy this jeep at this dealer

i looked at it a month ago and after a test drive it had (gauge read 0) the scan tool the mech had said 6-8 lbs at idle.. way low.
i checked under and it had a new oil pan. on the plus side they did offer a warranty for 30 days.. :D
just trying to help a guy out that is searching for a new XJ, dont want him to make the mistake i almost did.. its a silver XJ

We are assuming you're talking about the oil pressure. Anyway you do realise that if the sender is bad it won't matter what kind of guage (DBR scan tool or not) you put on it it will read wrong.

After i saw the new oil pan i looked at the sender it looked to be new too.
The mech said that same line oh its prob the sender...
and i know the scanner would read the same as the gauge if the sending unit is off. my thinking is there was something wrong with the motor(oil pan couldnt have rusted through its a 2001, then why a replacement pan) PO or prev dealer attempted to fix it. but decided to dump it at the auction. the sales guy from the dealer told me they got it from the auction..
 
Well its not there anymore someone bought it.
