Why change a good thing yea?

By laws state that we must have nominations and an election.
I am willing to stay on as President.
We never did have an election, so it would be nice to have the membership say weather they are happy with the curent administration.
Also, there are no "offices" people should be put in an office.

EDIT, lets discuss the nominations here to keep the other thread virgin pure. :wierd:

Yes, I'm willing to serve anywhere I can. I've been on the receiving end of way too much from this chapter and want to give back if I can.

Now that school is over, I have the time and most certainly the desire.

I know there are members of the MWC who are interested in the national BOD.

Can you reside on the national BOD and chapter BOD simultaneously?

I don't think it would be a good idea.

I don't think a person can fully devote the time it would take if they were on both BODs at the same time.

As we think about the coming elections, I would like to raise the issue of electing half of the BOD for 2 years, and half for 1. This would prevent a "green" BOD from fumbiling around till they learns whats what.

Since nominations have already been opened for all MWC board positions, it is not a bit late for this discussion? It was started on the MWXJ forum, but did not go very far.

Should nominations be temporarily suspended and this decided before hand?

I think we must elect a full board this time. I was thinking 2 would serve a year, and 2 would serve 2 years. Perhaps determined by the number of votes they recieve.

I'm still around, I've been busy with the new house this year. I will not be running again after the showing I put on this year. Lets get some new young blood in here.
