You weren't even born when that movie came out! :laugh3:
There were alot of good movies and TV shows that came out before I was born.

My dad had me watching that and Dukes of Hazard the day I was born. To this day I'm still hooked. But in my opinion the Dukes movie will probably wreck the show for everyone that grew up watching the show.

Jessica Simpson> Daisy Duke,,,,, Just pathetic!!!!!!!
We need real white trash to portray that role,, should have been Courtney Love!

Great movie, saw it in the theater.
Twice.
All other chase movies (with the exception of Gumball Rally, Bullit, and possibly, Ronin) are DMCL wannabes.
Susan George filled a teenage dream or two.

Definately a "must own" DVD.

To me the best car/chase movie ever was 'vanishing point'....

Has to be the original, never knew they did a remake and I've never been a copy cat fan of any movie. Sat thru the original for 3 showings at the old theater on the plaza in downtown san Diego the friday after it opened. Up until then the only move that I was more awed by was 2001 at a surround cinerama in Orange New Jersey.
Had a similar experience when star wars first came out, I'd just come back from a 3 month patrol so none of us in the crew had been exposed to the 'pre opening hoopla'. Saw it in 80mm big screen in Paramus NJ after standing in line for 4 hours the day after I got back from turning over the boat to the other crew in Rota spain.

As for chases, I like Bullit with Steve McQueen
