that being said, that kits nice and cheap, keep it under 25mph offroad, and go w/ the cheaper shocks, then replace em w/ bilstein 5150's

The 8000's are Hydro
The 9000's are Nitro
And RC's shocks are usually made by HECKETHORN.
Research which one will be better for your use if your only option is those two shocks.
I'd run doetsch on a budget. Even not on a budget they make some decently low priced higher end.
The 8000's series ride good and are only 42.30 each. They have a bump stop built into them and are nice riding.
