i have a full detroit locker in my xj 44 rear axle. ? is can i swap this into my hp 44 front axle that i am building and just spool the rear.

Just make sure that the locker has the right carrier break. 3.73 and down or 3.92 and up.

think long and hard about spooling the rear if its street driven. i am spooled and it just gets to be a real pain in the ass around town. not really bad, just the little drivability quirks get tiresome. other than that the Detoit up front sounds like a good combination.
