Definitive SEC Zombie Thread

shaggy bob is in my area so we need to come up with a fortifiable plan when they attack. i also live on a hilltop culldesac with a good view of the woods in the back and a good view to the main road on the front side.

we need a plan if it goes down. where to meet, when, and what to bring.

i have a ton of ammo for shotguns, mulitple shotguns, an ar and several other weapons rifle and pistol and plenty of ammo. plus a welder, lots of sharp tools and two jeeps and a minivan :D and a junk yard of old cars not 100 yards from my house (not great now but if zombies attach we have plenty of metal to scavenge for shielding :D)

and a pond down the hill from me too. and im in a rural area so less population and tons of cow pastures down the street for food! i saw we meet at my house what do you think? take over the culdesac of 6 houses and defend to the end!

I'll be bringing myself and a couple of other competent friends to your house :D

You are 33% likely to survive

Your chances of surviving the Zombie Apocalypse: %70.4128440366973!

or we all meet up at windrock with our jeeps and make a station on top of the mountain. less likely people will make it up there and we can take over the wind generators and the natural gas for power and heat! :D always thinking ahead :D

I'll be heading to Aiken,SC. Mom and Dad have a house there. The highest point in the county and has a clear line of sight for 100 yeards or more form the house all the way around. Has pontential for electricty to be generated near by and is brick constructed so access will nto be easy from anyone wanting to get in.

i like all three ideas. i lean towards the windrock idea because i like the idea of going in with next to nothing, that way you dont have anything you're used to depending on.

its easier if you have less to lose.

if there actually was a zombie apocalypse, I would raid the nearest walmart in vermont for ammo, buy a chainsaw (for firewood, I'd rather fight at long range), head for home depot and build myself some weapons, load the 96 into the back of the M54, towbar the MJ, and head for the rocky mountains.

... point taken.

I was mostly assuming that Home Depot would be open as usual and mostly deserted, while any store selling ammo, weapons, food, or fuel would be a mob scene or already picked clean :roflmao:

nah i think if i worked at homedepot and zombies starting attacking the world as i knew it... the last thing i would be concerned with was making sure to take peoples money for their purchases.... id prolly be one of the people taking stuff to fortify my home hehe.

What you need is armor for that M54. You could hold out in that sucker for a while.

Not to mention ... if it was a widespread zombie apocalypse, that big ass truck is going to draw a lot of unwanted attention by other humans who want it and the supplies in it.

Yeah... it's got a soft top right now. Not good!

According to the test I'm as good as gone. I can guarantee that a bunch of the walking dead will go before I do though. I don't keep a steady supply of guns and ammunition for nothing.

I just bought a house and my score should improve somewhat within the next few months.

It's in a much more gun friendly town and if things go according to plan, I'll be building a garage with a maintenance tunnel (about 3'x3' square) connecting it to the basement.

I don't need a quiz to tell me that I WILL survive. As long as I have my shotgun, dont run out of shells and the heep stays running, I will survive!

so ya mean you're screwed? :roflmao:

Every time I make a comment like that my jeeps decide to stab me in the back, NSS dies, I run out of fuel, CPS goes out to lunch, a wiring harness gets shredded and blows a couple fuses, etc.

Up-armored 7 ton MTVR would be the template. Some nice thick plating on the sides of the bed, add some to the doors, fire wall, back and roof of the cab.
