so ive got an 01 with 3" lift and 31"s MTs. every time i change the oil i also rotate my tires. so i did that today and now im getting death wobble...?

i have never experienced death wobble before. i have only heard of it online. but now when i go above 40 MPH my front end starts to wobble side to side. steering wheel shakes too. when it gets near 50+ its starts to wobble even worse.

this is my DD and i need it for work. i cant have it acting this way. i double checked the wheel lugs and they are all tight.

so what could i have done??? i dont get it at all.

PLEASE HELP!

That says 2 things! First you have a tire/balance problem, second you have some worn out suspension components.

sounds like a bad tire. you did not notice it on the back, when you moved it to the front now you have it. if it was suspension parts it would not have started as soon as you rotated the tires. rotate them back and test drive if it goes away it is tire related, as a majority of DW is.

If it started with a tire rotation, I'd start there.

You should have swapped them front to back on the same side. Swap them back one side at a time, then take the offending wheel/tire assembly down to the tire shop and see what it's trouble is. Could be a bad tire, or bad balance, or both.
