Daystar transmission mount

Hi

Has anyone run a daystar kj01010 transmission mount. I just put one in my 1999 xj 4.0 . I had to pull my transmission over about an inch to get it in and now my driveshaft yoke hits my e brake cable.

Did I get the wrong one?

According to the website it is the correct part # for my year but it seems like it's wrong to me

Most likely you have it in backwards, they have a offset bolt pattern.

The daystar mount I have is not offset. It's symmetrical
I put the junky anchor mount back in and it's back to normal. The anchor mount is offset.

I just checked a new spare I have, it's exactly 1/2" off-center.

There are two styles. One offset and one centered.

I went looking for SFR's two versions and apparently they have managed to come up with a design that accomodates both, but their listing still references the two styles: https://www.stinkyfab.com/products/sfr-trail-proof-transmission-mount-jeep-xj-cherokee

That would make it fit. It would be an inch over. This one is perfectly symmetrical. Must have been packaged wrong
