Dark blue or balck XJ with 35s in Lemoore / Hanford area?

Anyone know the guy with the dark blue or black XJ with a possible winch, and 35s or so that lives in or around Lemoore or Hanford? I see the guy every now and again but haven't had the chance to introdcue myself. Since I don't have the XJ anymore, he wouldn't have a reason to stop unless I happened to have my Crusier and did a girly "hey look at me" wave. Good chance I get I get corn shuck or chaw spit on me around here if I did that.

So if anyone knows the guy, let me know. I am new to the area and always looking for wheeling buddies.

There is always an influx of people coming and going for the Navy and he might be new.

Thanks, Dan

Hi Dan,

I've seen that xj too! Each time I saw it I've been one of my other cars and going the opposite direction.

On a side note, I've finally started ordering parts for my Jeep so I can have it done for spring. If all goes well.

Hey Rick. I too decided to finish up my loose ends. I picked up a lecturer position two nights a week at West Hills College just for Cruiser funds. I am throwing on some 36 IROKS, some black rock crawler wheels, front locker, new clutch (want to help me install it), and a solid mount power steering box mount. If you need any help, let me know and give me a yell.

That XJ looks liek a nice rig. One of us will have to flag him down.

Oh, I became an official Hanford Trail Buster this evening.

I've seen the Xj a few times. I do beleive I've seen it on base at least once. I drive a white 97 TJw/ an RE long arm on 36" IROCS. I'm trying to find go up around Shaver on this Saturday. If anyone is interested lets go. I want to do some good wheelin here at least once cause I'm about to move to Ridgecreston the 9th of feb. Any other location any closer would be good too if its decent. Give me a call. Joe 1-360-632-2642

LOL

Check out our local 4x4 site www.4x4trailhunters.com

Seriously I do miss a bunch of stuff from the valley but overall I'd much rather live up here.

i just saw that website earlier this week. i had bought from a guy down in socal some tow hooks that someone made from trailhunters i guess back in the days. the tow hooks came with a big www.4x4trailhunters.com sticker to put on my heep. site looks good.

i grew up in modesto and liked it there. moved to washington for 4 years and then moved back to california and ended up here. i didn't realize how bad modesto was until i went back there a few years back and it's a hellhole. but i do miss it's central location to everything. close enough to do day trips to santa cruz, sac, s.f., yosemite and a bunch of places i take the kids. from up here, those places take forever. oh well.
