Guess we're gonna have to come up with a new nickname now. I guess technically it is still boxy.

Anyways he said he was gonna start a thread but figured I would since I'm starting to go through the pics. He took WAY more than I did, and I took alot. But I'll get it started in reverse order with the unloading this morning which was interesting, and cold.

only a little scrap on the concrete, which is more than can be said with some of the parking lots we visited with that thing

Oh, and if thought why back the trailer up. The motor is in the back of it. So we ran the winch underneath to the back of the trailer and got it off the trailer, then I kinda pushed it back into the garage the rest of the way with the trailer.

Hunter (the older son) after I said you remember they guy at GM with the horns on his Jeep? He traded it for that. Hunter: "oh he got tired of having a roof?" Got to love kids.

Thats a good pic. Shrek, your son is pretty much right, I used to have a YJ and I just never could get used being enclosed I guess. I have a TON of pics put I'm having some trouble with the computer so it might be a day or two. Good trip Carl, couldn't have done it without you buddy.

Looks awesome! I drove to Kansas this past summer, long trips like that with a good friend are a once-in-a-lifetime event. Very cool you got to stop at the Arch, we were in "diesel down" mode and only saw it from the highway. I hope y'all hit those slopes!

I agree, that was the main reason I went as I don't have much else to do at the moment. :( That was one thing I wanted to do as well was to see as much as we could within reason. I was hoping to come back through Vegas and see the Hoover Dam and Grand Canyon but I think the drive out wore us down. Another time. Of course pulling that trailer through Dtown St. Louis wasn't a whole lot of fun, I still can't believe we got it down on the river front, was a very tight S turn, gotta love GN's

that panaramic 360 view is cool... how did you do that?

Thanks, it turned out well. Thats the end of the access road at the Bonneville flats. As for how, its a secret

Actually its just photoshop with a bunch of pics. The actually size is about 68" wide. 12" Tall. Which I guess isn't that bad. I've made some monsters before.

Hey Dan, a few things on the 9 inch... first off, loose the pinion guard, it'll just get you hung up with it hanging down that low. If you want one, make one out of round tube (like a 4" diameter piece cut in half) so that it won't have to hang down below the pinion support. Also, I see the disc brakes, but where are the calipers and brackets??? lol.

Looks like a good rig man!

The arch is cool. My grandfather and I drove through St. Louis on our way to Las Vegas earlier this year.

Yea, along with the motor, the rear brakes need finishing and the 3 shifters for the tcase need mounting. The guy went through a rebuild of this thing and it looks like he fell just short of the finish line.

Tyler, the first think I though of when I looked at that pinion guard was boat anchor. I still might leave it on for a while to see just how bad it catches though. Either way I'm dyin to get back out and ride.

friend of mine runs one of those guards on his 9 inch and he had the same concerns but it really hasnt been a huge issue for him, he'd rather have it get hung on the gaurd than F-up the pinion support.

im off on sunday if your in town, call me i dont have your number anyomore, i need to come lay eyes on this beast....
