Stock gears and 35's?
Stock gears and 35's?
yep. he stalled more than once.
depends on if his trans is manual or auto. auto is 3.55, manual is 3.07. 35's with an auto is probably better than 31's with a manualAnd I thought 33" and stock gears was a dog
it's a jeep. if there's not something wrong, there's something wrong. If he is stalling out an auto, something is wrong
but will the occasional wheel slippage in the mud or snow cause trouble?
My brother blew up 2nd gear in his 85 Nissan doing the same, except this time was to show off at a couple knuckleheads in their Civic thinking they were cool. Roasted the tires all the way through first, shifted into second and POP! followed by a face saving shift into 3rd...![]()
it costs $100 to never have to worry about it again, and it bolts in, and can be found in any decent junkyard in the country. No excuses. Why are we even having this discussion again?
Ran 36's on a d35/d30 combo and never had a issue, the ground clearence loss going to a d44/8.25 or 8.8 simply ain't worth the time or hassle
