Just to let you know how this turned out....

I recently upgraded to to pit bull 42's on the rear and it works great in mud with 37's up front, just need to be careful getting to an from the mud so the transfer case stays in one piece. Flipping the Dana 35 and putting it in the rear gave a strong high pinion and tons of clearance.
