I have a really clean Dana 35 with brakes and all. The hard brake lines are still on it and I have all the parts for the rear drums. The Axle has about 135,000 miles on it with fresh gear oil less than 5,000 miles. The rear drums are in good shape along with the pads. You might have to replace some of the drum parts.
