Ok Ive got a Dana 300 trans case I want to no will it bolt right up to my transmission or do i have to buy an adapter i have a 1990 jeep cherokee with the 4.0l and the automatic

I had to flip the 231 to pass side drop and flipped the 300 to driver side drop. Used D.D. Machine flip sticks, stock lever with a cable to the 231. Be prepared to do some floor work and have some thing to carry the weight of the 300.

opracer315 said:Only have a couple of pics. I first used a B&M cable from Summit Racing. But it is a solid core cable which broke after a couple of test tries. I then went to a rigging company I use to work for. They made me a much better stranded cable for the same price as B&M's cable.

Here are pics of how I attached to the shift lever and t-case lever.
I just looped the cable to the top of the tranny and zip tied it to the wire bracket that holds the knock down cable.
